Second installment of memorial pavers added to the Dog Park in Spring 2016!

A special HUGE THANK YOU to Jesse Dunlap, President of DSD Landscaping for letting two of his best guys, Casey and Marty help us with the Memorial Dog Park.They placed the second installment of Memorial Pavers at the Isle of Wight Animal Shelter's Dog Park today. We are open Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and we are located in Historic Downtown Smithfield at 426 Main Street (the corner of Grace Street and Main Street)
Our Mission
• To provide assistance to animals through the Isle of Wight County Animal Shelter.
• Work with the Isle of Wight Humane Society to benefit IOWC animals.
• Provide needed assistance to individuals for treatment of their animals. This need for treatment and assistance being determined by local veterinarians.
• Provide a $5K scholarship to an Isle of Wight County High School student who is pursuing a degree to become a Veterinarian or a Veterinarian Tech. (Please see the "Scholarship Tab" or contact your school guidance counselor for more information about this scholarship).

Founded June 24, 2010 by Robin and Peter Knauth of Smithfield. We are a Volunteer, 501(3)(c), Non Profit Organization where our proceeds go to benefit the Animals of Isle of Wight County. We accept donations (material or monetary) from anyone who is willing to give and we are always in need of volunteers who are looking to lend a helping hand. We accept most items/donations during our business hours (There are some items we do not take). Please stop by to browse our great selection of merchandise and don't forget to stop by often as our merchandise is constantly changing!
